No booking is confirmed until the agreed deposit has been paid and minimum booking conditions may apply depending on the day, date and time of booking.
Cancellation
For various reasons Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland Ltd will reserve the right to cancel boat tours and events:
Weather
Cancellation due to inclement weather is rare and will be decided at the sole discretion of Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland Ltd
The boats are partially covered and this will provide adequate protection from most weather conditions. We do not cancel due to rain or cold.
This decision to cancel will be based on safety grounds and will only happen in the event of extreme weather conditions such as gale force winds.
With regards to cancellation; if the customer chose to cancel for weather (or for any other reason) then there is no refund. If Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland Ltd chose to cancel then we would offer an alternative date or agree to refund any deposit paid.
Lateness
In the event of late arrival by participants, we reserve the right to cancel or to cut short any or all tours and activities without refund.
Other
In the event of non-compliance with Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland staff then boat tours and activities will be terminated without refund.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to any person for any reason and one such example would be any person who appears to be under the excessive influence of alcohol or drugs.
Exclusions
Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland Ltd will endeavour to run all activities as strictly to schedule as possible but we do reserve the right to alter price and departure times
Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of property.
Safety
Our staff members are trained by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and hold all relevant safety certificates and qualifications
All safety guidelines, instructions and regulations from Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland staff are compulsory and must be observed at all times.
All safety equipment issued by Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland staff is compulsory and must be used at all times.
All passengers will be supplied with life jackets; which is compulsory for your extra comfort and safety
All persons participate in boating activities at their own risk and it is the responsibility of all participants that they have understood all safety guidelines, instructions and regulations.
Insurance
Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland are both licensed and insured. We hold public liability insurance and third party insurance up to £5,000,000.
All Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland activities are run to the highest possible standards; however, all participants should recognise that all outdoor activities involve some element of risk. Participation in all tours and activities is on the understanding that participants accept this risk.
